Veterinary Technician Job Openings

SDSU is offering a career opportunity within the Animal Disease Research and Diagnostic Laboratory. The laboratory is a new, state-of-the-art facility and the only accredited veterinary diagnostic laboratory in South Dakota. As a team member in the Histology/Tissue Prep Lab and the Clinical Pathology Lab, there is an opportunity for acquiring new skills and job advancement.

Primary daily duties in the Tissue Prep/Histology lab include: tissue dissection and preparation for further processing, case/specimen identification and tracking and inventory management.
Primary daily duties in the Clinical Pathology lab include: sample processing, performing tests (e.g. CBC, chemistry profile, fecal floatation, urinalysis, etc.) and reporting results.
