Lake Area Veterinary Clinic is a four doctor mixed animal practice located in Watertown, South Dakota looking to hire a large animal associate to join our practice. The practice consists of 65% large animal with a progressively growing small animal portion. The large animal consists predominately of cow calf and feedlot with some dairy, equine, small ruminant, and swine. Our practice is equipped with haul in facilities, portable hydraulic chutes, a hydraulic tilt chute, equine stalls and stocks, a large animal recovery suite, and calf crates. It is well equipped with diagnostic tools including an x-ray machine, ultrasound, in house blood machines, laser therapy, CO2 laser, and gas anesthesia. New graduates are welcome as we are willing to provide mentorship. Our practice is looking for a veterinarian that is hardworking, motivated, and has excellent communication.
