Veterinarian Job Openings

We are a well-established (50 years at current location) but forward-looking companion animal practice looking for 1 or 2 full time associate veterinarians. The senior partner just retired at the end of 2020 and a buy in opportunity would be available within a reasonable time period. Yankton is a modern and thriving city with a population of nearly 16,000 that sits on the Missouri River at the SD-NE border. It boasts an incredible array of outdoor recreational activities, a growing historical downtown, numerous employment options and it offers a safe, community-centered environment with a great educational system. Our practice would give you an opportunity to grow as a professional and we encourage our associates to be active in the community and state/local/national veterinary organizations. We are currently staffed by one veterinarian owner, six full time staff including three veterinary technicians and 2 part-time kennel staff. We believe in providing quality care at affordable pricing. The practice uses Cornerstone software with IDEXX blood machines, digital radiology, ultrasound, cold therapy laser, ultrasonic dental equipment, isoflurane anesthesia with monitors, complete in house and online pharmacy and boarding services. Associates would be expected to work 45-50hours a week but there is no emergency or weekend duty. Our ideal candidate is passionate about the veterinary profession and wants to continue to learn and expand their knowledge and techniques.
