SDVMA is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.  AVMA provides information and guidance on policy issues concerning veterinary medicine. While AVMA sets its own policy positions through the SDVMA Public Policy Committee, AVMA provides useful and reliable information about public policies impacting veterinary medicine.
