The South Dakota Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners is responsible for the licensure and discipline of veterinarians, veterinary technicians and livestock assistants. The Board also handles complaints against a licensee or complaints of unlicensed practice.
Veterinary corporations are required to registered in South Dakota. The Board also handles the registration and renewal of veterinary corporations.
